Since making their debut as collectors of African art in 2018, in just under five years the Schultings have amassed a collection of 155 works by artists hailing from Africa and its Diaspora, ranging from paintings to photography and sculpture, and spanning 30 African nations alone.
Especially important to note, is the fact that many of these acquisitions have been made via art galleries and dealers based on or from the continent, an act of intention that supports both the development of artists and the sustainable expansion of the African art ecosystem and it being powered by the continent.
